The Southwest Florida Dog Diving Club was created to support the sport of dock jumping.
The club is based out of Fort Myers, Florida.
Members gather from Port St Lucie, Clearwater, Sarasota, Punta Gorda, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs and Estero.
The dock used is over forty feet long and dogs jump into a natural pond.
The club sponsors at least one major event a year which is judged by Splash Dogs.
This sport is open to all breeds, especially those who desire the water and sport of fetch. The toys used must be floatable, non-edible and not a dead/alive animal.
Dogs of all breeds and ages are welcome. Puppies under the age of six months should not jump off the dock however are encouraged to attend for the socialization.
